Tank Tracks – Mini Tank Driving Experience

Tank Tracks is an exciting driving adventure as you take the controls of one of our Mini Tanks around an almost quarter of a mile of woodland track at our partners Forest Facility Adventure Centre and operates in all weathers year round.

This driving experience offers a 20 minute session for ‘Tank Commanders’ of all ages 8* – 80+

You will get a brief introduction to the tank, full guidance on how to control the tanks movements, adjustments to the seating position to make you as comfortable as possible and your lap belt will be secured and must remain fastened for the duration of your experience.

You will be given a set of ear defenders to be worn at all times when the tank engine is running.

Depending on the weather we can offer rain ponchos in the wet and baseball caps or sunglasses on extremely sunny days.

A Tank Captain or Course Commander will supervise the first part of your drive until they are satisfied that you have understood the controls and are competent to proceed on your own, once you are given the all clear you will follow the marked course in full control for around 2-3 laps of the course, driver speeds vary but a single lap usually takes around 4 minutes and 30 seconds to complete.

You will get approximately** 15 minutes driving at the controls of the Mini Tank as you navigate our woodland course.
